According to American Chiropractic Association: “Chiropractic is health care profession that focuses on disorders of the musculoskeletal system and the nervous system, and the effects of these disorders on general health”. Significant research allocates that chiropractic is known to be the safest and more cost effective approach available for relief from neck pain, back pain, headaches and other “musculo-skeletal” complaints.

Doctors of Chiropractic, also known as Chiropractors – diagnose and treat patients whose health problems are associated with body’s muscular, nervous, and skeletal systems, especially the spine. Hence, this is accomplished by looking for interference in the nervous system’s control of the body, by what its called a “Subluxation”.

Additionally, today, much more has been added to that simply philosophy, with the addition of rehabilitation exercise, dietary and nutritional counselling, acupuncture, soft tissue manipulation.

Spinal manipulation,” also known as “chiropractic adjustment” is the most common therapeutic procedure performed by chiropractors. The purpose of this treatment is to restore joint mobility by manually applying a controlled force into joints that have become hypomobile – or restricted in their movement – due to tissue injury.
